So, you’ve bought one or more flower essences and you’re wondering… what’s next? How do I start using and exploring these potentially life-changing bottles?
The most common way to use flower essences is orally. That’s the way most people know of them and the way Dr. Bach recommended. Just drop or spray directly into the mouth.
Be careful not to touch the dropper or nozzle directly with your tongue or hands, though! This helps keep germs from potentially contaminating the bottle.
A common schedule is 3-4 drops or 1-2 sprays, 3-4 times per day.
You can also add flower essences to a glass of water and take regular sips.
So, those are some standard guidelines for oral use.

Hi how do you make your flower essences for pregnant women or all they all made the same way and safe to take for everyone?
Hi Rebecca, thanks for your comment & question. I hand-make all my flower & gem essences so I can customize a preservative for the client: brandy is most traditional, but I also use and recommend organic plant-based glycerin or organic apple cider vinegar. So, for pregnant women, I’d recommend glycerin or ACV to preserve. However, if you have a remedy already made with brandy, you can add a few drops to a warm liquid such as tea to reduce or eliminate the alcohol content. You can also use it topically. I give many suggestions in my FREE How to Use Flower Essences guide, or on my FAQ page. Hope that helps!
